The wonderful world of Bestival, an award-winning boutique music festival, has been an oasis of escapism in the U.K. since its inception in 2004. In 2015, Bestival would cross borders to make its North America debut at Hanlan’s Point Beach in the Toronto Islands. Known for its top international acts and celebration of arts and culture, the Canadian edition featured opening headlines indie icons Florence + The Machine and rap legend, NAS.
Among the list of sponsors, Perrier Canada would offer a community experience promoting their new Slim Can while hosting a lineup of musical talent. Toronto-based creative agency, The Community, created the Perrier Greenhouse concept, a beautifully designed 3,000 sq. ft. branded environment. We worked closely with the agency as fabrication partners, building the structure and interior décor.
We were mandated to fabricate a fully enclosed and air-conditioned space with glass-like panels, premium Perrier green turf, floating turf-covered benches, chandeliers wrapped with greenery complete with a custom DJ booth made up of hundreds of LED lights to represent Perrier bubbles. According to The Community, the Perrier Greenhouse received 18,000 attendees and served 8,997 complimentary Perrier cocktails, leaving Bestival-goers with a bubbly feeling as they danced their little hearts out!
As the sun set, the Toronto skyline provided a stunning backdrop for the Canadian event.
